Job Description
As our Product Manager you will:
- Be obsessed with customers! Understand what matters most to our customers.
- Monitor metrics which matter and prioritise features to improve the experience and lives of our customers
- Facilitate requirements gathering, and problem solving with business champions, stakeholders, and most importantly customers
- Continuously over-communicate within teams, across teams, and across the business to enable clear and simple understanding of goals, progress, and challenges
- Provide visibility on expected delivery, including delays, blockers, and dependencies, to align on and manage expectations, and enable predictable delivery and coordination across the business
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Architects, Tech Leads, Data, DevOps, and Quality Engineers to coordinate delivery and dependencies
- Develop practical specifications that effectively translate business problem statements into high-level technical solutions that are actionable by Agile development teams. This includes working with Design on prototypes and wireframes, and developing process flows
- Coordinate product demos, gather feedback and ideas, and support training and communications for delivery of new products, features, and enhancements to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers
- NOT be a backlog manager.
In your first 90 days at Mama Money you will:
- Get to know the ins and outs of our business, in particular; how the various systems and teams work together
- Understand who we are, where we are coming from and what we are trying to accomplish, taking
- our values into account
- Get up to speed on the current and upcoming projects; understand the blockers and challenges
- Join our sales agents in the field for an outreach and spend half a day shadowing our customer
- success agents
- Hopefully design and manage the launch of a few new features!

- You are able to self-manage and take ownership of your work, with good organizational and time management skills
- You work effectively with people at all levels in the business
- You have excellent communication skills; able to present complex ideas simply, in writing, visually, and verbally
- You have experience in product led growth
- You have understanding of, or ideally proven experience, working with Agile delivery
- You have an understanding, or ideally proven experience, applying UX and design best practices
