City of Cape Town Limited suitably invites qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Superintendent Electrical to join our dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:

What you’ll do

• Co-ordinate tasks/activities associated with the implementation of procedures and reporting on sequences/outcomes
• Ensure laid down procedures and guidelines associated with the operations of the Depot are implemented, deviations promptly attended to and corrected to enable compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Ensure the Depot is capably positioned in terms of material, equipment, and personnel to achieve outcomes of electrical maintenance programmes
• Coordinate and control tasks/activities with managing personnel performance, productivity, and discipline
• Ensure work undertaken is completed in accordance with laid down specifications, quality standards and cost measures, as stipulated in contracts or works orders
• Perform specific administrative tasks/activities associated with the updating and maintaining records/ information related to the activities/ operations at the Depot
• Ensure accurate operational information is maintained and made available on request and administrative reporting deadlines and procedures are complied with.

• Trade Tested Artisan in the relevant industry with wireman licence
• A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience
• A valid Code B driver’s licence
• Computer Literacy in MS Office Applications and SAP
• Prior management of personnel.
