Job Description
Cheil South Africa Pty Ltd is searching for a talented Social Media Manager to represent our company by building a social media presence for our brands. The Social Media Manager will be required to run advertising campaigns and drive engagement by creating high-quality original content. You should also engage influencers, manage our community by responding to comments, and oversee our customer service across all platforms.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Social media strategy development
- Oversee all the social media initiatives and campaigns
- The main responsibility will be creating, improving, and maintaining content for various platforms to achieve business goals, all the while maintaining creativity that is aligning with the brand
- Scheduling and planning social media marketing
- Backend and frontend advertising (as well as conceptualising and managing social media paid advertising for specific campaigns)
- Social media page management
- Community management
- Repurpose existing content
- Briefing in design
- Ensure positive consumer engagement & experience (moderation management)
- Monthly reports on metrics, using experience and insight to analyse and quantify data, continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 3 – 5 years’ experience Social Media Management experience
- Fully equipped on Facebook Ads Manager
- Experience on all social media platforms (FB, Instagram, Twitter, LinkendIn, Youtube, Pinterest)
- Experience on Later & Hootsuite preferable
- Sufficient in: native platform management (through FB and Twitter Directly), FB Business Manager, Sprinklr
- Strong copy writing skills
- Strong reporting skills
