Ongoing Job Vacancy at RCL FOODS for the position of Merchandiser for immediate employment.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:

What you’ll do

• Merchandising
• Create product displays as per the seasonal cycles and discount offers.
• Adhere to accepted merchandising standards/instore planograms are maintained.
• Create product displays as per the store floor/freezer plan.
• Ensure defective, invested stock or old products are removed and new products are properly stacked and displayed.
• Install banners, posters, displays, flags, etc. in the store.
• Check the product stocking, merchandising and display systems.
• Interact regularly with all store staff to keep them informed about upcoming store projects and timelines.

Monitor stock on shelf in line with 8 Shelf Health Elements:

• Full Shelves at all times
• Best Shelf Position
• The right forward Share
• PI Labels present & correct
• Stock Rotation (FIFO)
• Spotless Shelves
• Product Quality Obsession
• Correct Range

Qualifications:

• Grade 12
• A minimum of 1 years relevant experience
• Required to work weekends/overtime and public holidays
• Clear criminal record
