Job Description

Santam Insurance suitably invites qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Motor Claims Service Consultant Heavy Co to join our dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:

What you’ll do

  • Multi-Vendor delivery, inter-dependency and relationship management.
  • Solid understanding of physical and virtual infrastructure management including storage, backups and disaster recovery.
  • Vendor liaison on all queries and issues raised for resolution.
  • Standards, policies and procedures to endure regulatory adherence.
  • Relationship building
  • Translation of the organisation’s strategy into implementable actions.
  • Implement strong monitoring capabilities with automated escalation and notifications. Produce standard reports on a monthly basis on performance as well as future consumption trends that might become risks.

  • B Com (IS) / BSC Informatics or equivalent
  • 10 years + working experience in this environment
  • Experience with or administration of Operating Systems, Core Infrastructure Hardware, Active Directory and other Windows Based Systems
  • Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments.

  • Must have analytical ability and be able to analyse data in order to solve problems and provide appropriate solutions.
