Functional/Technical competencies (Knowledge and Skills)



  • Computer literacy (Word, excel, emails, data management)
  • Service and maintenance of equipment (Technical capabilities, equipment and program knowledge)
  • General knowledge of sporting equipment found in gymnasiums, rehabilitation and sports labs,  and repair thereof will be an advantage
  • General knowledge of building maintenance and repairs
  • General facility administration (booking of lecture rooms)
  • Teamwork, oral communication, adaptability, initiative, professionalism
  • Cultural and gender sensitivity
  • Policies and planning.

Qualification and/or experience within Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) will serve as an advantage

  • Patient and punctual
  • Oral/written communications (Friendly, well-spoken and proficient in English)
