Job Description

DotModus therefore requires an Enterprise Account Manager to service and build on and out additional revenue within its current customer base in the Enterprise segment. The Enterprise Account Manager will be responsible for the development and expansion of our current footprint to service the needs of various Blue Chip Customers in the South African market.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:

What you’ll do

  • Developing an account based growth strategy and plan per account against agreed target and budget
  • Implement account based growth strategies per account focused on building new projects and additional services and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
  • Increasing the breadth and value within our defined enterprise client base
  • Conduct research to identify new stakeholders, business divisions and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with current and new stakeholders within these accounts
  • Researching business opportunities and viable income streams within these accounts
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Drafting and reviewing proposals
  • Keep records of billing, sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing stakeholders within these accounts
  • Managing and retaining relationships with existing stakeholders within these accounts
  • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Negotiating with stakeholders
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Managing and providing a detailed Account Plan per account

  • Established proven track record and working experience as an Enterprise Account Manager with an established and broad network in the South African business environment
  • Proven sales growth track record that speaks to the development and support of an account based growth strategy
  • Proficiency in English
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport from C-Level to Administration
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree would be preferred but is not an absolute requirement
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with design and implementation of account based business development strategy in the Enterprise customer domain
  • The ability to self-motivate and work within a team
  • Experience working to and exceeding growth targets
