Code 10 Driver with PDP at E.P.X. Courier Services

Job Description

We are looking for a licensed Code 10 Driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and or experienced persons for the above — mentioned post.

You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties: Perform tasks/activities associated with the collection and distribution of material using heavy vehicles

• Transporting Personnel
• Communicating and clarifying requirements
• Roads and Stormwater monitoring

Correcting Deviations in work-related sequencing in order to ensure service delivery standards are maintained and productivity targets and deadlines are achieved.

• Accurate loading and unloading of trucks
• Pack vehicles with orders to be delivered
• Record loaded parcels
• Report any discrepancy
• Capture relevant information

Salary:

The bottom notch of a post Level 10 of a Grade 3 Local Authority — i.e. R 129 252.49 p.a. subject to Job Evaluation plus standard municipal benefits.

Desired Experience & Qualification

The applicant must have the appropriate level of Secondary Qualification — NQF level 1

• Code C1 driver’s licence and PrDP
• 18 to 24 months year’s relevant experience
• Skills: Good Communication skills (IsiZulu & English)
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Ability to drive and operate Utility Vehicle.
